DESCRIPTION:Theme – Let your light shine!\nYes – we are embracing the cheese! No doubt all the classic songs are now going through your head! Haha! In June 26\, the core team got together and prayerfully were drawn to Matthew 5: 14-16.\n“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand\, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way\, let your light shine before others\, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”\n We are inspired by young people’s faith and feel like this year\, God wants us to really focus on encouraging young people to put their faith on show. And so\, that is what we are going to explore across all three Ignites. We are going to focus into each verse for each event.\nTherefore\, at our upcoming Ignite\, we will be introducing the theme and exploring verse 14.\nEvening Timetable\nHere’s an outline of the evening for those who it helps to know in advance (please be flexible — timetable may change): \n6:30 – Free Time Activities\n7:10 – Praise Song\n7:05 – Welcome & Prayers\n7:12 – Icebreakers\n7:30 – Announcements\n7:35 – Testimony\n7.45 – Bible Reading\n7.50 – Talk\n8.05 – Worship & Response\n8.55 – Goodbye & Finish\nRemember\, you don’t need to know exact names or numbers of your group until you arrive but you do need to sign up in advance. This night will be hosted by Fusion and 24-7 Prayer in collaboration with local churches\, with time for faith-raising stories\, creative prayer\, dynamic worship and vision-casting. DESCRIPTION:This year’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign runs from 25th November until 10th December and we would like to invite you to our Light the Way Service on Thursday 26th November from 4pm at The Minster Church of St Andrew\, Royal Parade\, Plymouth: \nPlease join us for Light the Way 2026\, a powerful and inspiring event as part of the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign. Together\, we will shine a light on the impact of violence against women and girls\, raise awareness\, think about breaking generational barriers and inspire action across our communities.\nThe service will feature thought-provoking contributions from the Bishop of Plymouth\, alongside other inspiring speakers as well as courageous personal stories from those whose lives have been affected by abuse and violence. Through reflection\, hope\, and shared commitment\, we will explore how every individual\, organisation\, and community can play a greater part in creating a safer and more compassionate society.\nThis event is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with survivors\, remember those affected by violence\, and renew our collective commitment to change. Together\, we can challenge harmful attitudes\, support those in need\, and help build a future where women and girls can live free from fear and violence.
