Following Jesus when things are straightforward is great but what happens to our faith when we go through times of trial and suffering?
Do we question or blame God for the challenges and turn from our faith? Or do we find a richer and truer expression of what it means to be a Christian?
Following several months in hospital in the winter of 2023/24 undergoing severe and debilitating health conditions, Chris Cole will be sharing about finding God and deepening our faith in the midst of suffering.
As well as drawing on his personal experiences, Chris will reflect on the way in which the persecuted Church across the globe are tremendous examples to us in the Western church of what it means to follow Christ whatever the cost.
Chris has spent over 40 years following God’s call on his life to reach people for Christ through media. This call has led to opportunities in radio, television, printed media, festivals and Christian events.
Chris is the founder of Cross Rhythms ministry which today consists of radio stations in Stoke on Trent, Plymouth and in Bethlehem to the Arabic speaking population. Each bringing the gospel to their communities.
Cross Rhythms programming is also syndicated to over 50 radio stations across the globe with a presence in nearly every continent.
Today Chris serves as trustee and co chair of Cross Rhythms, trustee of God TV and in recent years has been studying for a PhD in public theology.
