“I first came to church 10 years ago, after the death of my mother, having never been a believer or a church goer in my life. When she passed away, I began asking questions to myself about the purpose to life, what was it and how did I find it. My brother pointed me towards Christianity( he had been a Christian for many years). I decided that nothing would be lost by my investigating this further, and ended up coming to Hope Baptist at Andrew Gardiner’s invitation. After my first visit, it became clearer to me that this was something I needed to look at on a deeper level, and started coming to church regularly. After a few more visits, I was encouraged by Andrew and Katherine to begin a journal, charting the changes within me and my attitudes to life, faith and other people”
